“Finishers” or “free time” are popular ways to end a workout.
In this short course, we look to “maximise our marginal gains” by helping you better understand, design and implement client-specific finishers to meet any client’s goals and respect any client’s abilities. 10 videos 7-20 mins long, total course length 2 hours and 40 mins (videos only, allow extra time for learning, note taking and application).
I'm always looking at ways of freshening up my approach to training, and often have a finishers section that my clients always enjoy. Here, Gregg takes us through various protocols for maximising your training and time. He breaks it down for different scenarios, giving me plenty of actionable ideas that I can use straight away. Thanks again Gregg!
Another fantastic course on how to programme for Finishers and the art and science behind it whilst always considering "What's the Goal" ,rather than flinging a few random exercises together! The section at the end (MAS) is also incredibly useful to learn how to individualise your clients aerobic training.
I've generally thought of finishers as maybe a few drop sets of isolation movements in the last 5 minutes of a session, this course has just expanded my tiny little mind!
Really enjoyed this course, found it bloody interesting! and more than happy with the excel content as my head may have exploded setting that up! thank you!
Great ideas and ways to implement finishers into PT sessions in a structured way. Keeping the goal the goal and making sure clients get the most from the session.
